SINGAPORE -- Singaporean conglomerate Sembcorp Industries, the parent company of one of the world's largest jack-up rig builders, Sembcorp Marine, said on Thursday it is seeing "signs of improvement" in the global oil and gas exploration and production sector.
"Enquiries for non-drilling solutions continue to be encouraging," said the company in a press release on Thursday, announcing its July-September financial results. "Sembcorp Marine has been actively responding to more enquiries and tenders for developing engineering solutions for the production segment."
