Hanwha Total manufactures various petrochemical products ranging from base chemicals (ethylene, propylene, parazylene, styrene monomer, etc) to polyolefins (polyethylene and polypropylene) from 15 unit plants in Daesan Petrochemical Complex at Seosan, South Chungcheong Province, With the successful completion of expansion project in 2014 which added a second aromatics plant and a new condensate fractionation unit (CFU) to the complex, Hanwha Total is now expanding into the energy sector by producing refined products such as gasoline, diesel, jet oil, fuel oil, and LPG.
