The low oil prices and difficulties in the mining industry hit the job market tremendously. Consequently, recent geoscience graduates have very little opportunities to enter the international petroleum industry, which include those in Indonesia. Active and talented geoscience students are looking for an opportunity to make the most of their knowledge that they have cultivated and refined during university. Unfortunately, suitable positions in companies are not readily available, despite graduates already possessing skill and enthusiasm established through achievement awards granted by AAPG (American Association of Petroleum Geologists).
