Valvitalia was founded in 2002 by the present C.E.O. Salvatore Ruggeri and his two sons, Massimiliano and Luca. The Group is one of the world leader in manufacturing products for the energy industry. Valvitalia spreads over 14 manufacturing plants, 7 of which are in Italy and the others are in China, U.K., Canada, Saudi Arabia, Poland, Russia, Kazakhstan with commercial offices in Abu Dhabi, Houston, Calgary, Kuala Lumpur, Alger, Baku and Seoul. With 1400 employees and a 2014 year turnover of 421 million euro, the Group exports 97% of production and its products are installed in 106 Countries worldwide. Production excellence together with the capability to fully satisfy requests and needs of its customers, thanks to a custom made manufacturing of valves, actuators, fittings, flanges, gas equipment and FireFighting systems brought to the ONE-STOP-SHOP concept, that has been the main element which determined the success of the Group and the distinction trait from the competitors. Salvatore Ruggeri, together with his two sons, controls through Finvalv the 50,5% of the Group, while the remaining 49,5% is owned by Fondo Strategico Italiano, part of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti. Recently, Valvitalia has acquired two Italian brands involved in the FireFighting System: Silvani in December 2014 and Eusebi in May 2015. Thanks to the acquisition of these two historical brands, Valvitalia becomes the Italian leader and one of the most important manufacturer of FireFighting Systems and equipment in the world. Valvitalia has been recently admitted to the Milan Stock Exchange Elite Large Corporate Program and has started to prepare itself to a forthcoming listing.
