Stantec Abu Dhabi is currently seeking a Electrical Engineer to support electrical design works for our on ongoing building projects.
Key Tasks and Duties:
-Full knowledge and expertise in electrical systems design, calculations, life cycle cost analysis, drawing production and report writing.
-The candidate must be detailed oriented and well organized with effective
communication skills both verbal and written.
-The candidate is expected to regularly attend Client meetings and give presentations on their area of expertise.
-The candidate should have familiarity with the latest versions of AutoCAD and Electrical Design Software, including Revit MEP.
-The candidate must be able to work well independently and with teams of designers and engineers to deliver an engineering design that is clear and concise.
Senior Electrical Engineer (Buildings)
Qualifications and Experience
-Electrical Engineering Degree from a nationally accredited engineering program.More than 10 years of experience working within a Building Services Design Group with an emphasis in Power distribution and Lighting Design.
-Experience with Healthcare projects is a must.
-Electrical Engineering Degree from a nationally accredited engineering program.
-Working knowledge of Revit/AutoCAD, and MS Office programs is required.
-Demonstrated Proficiency with International Building Codes and Standards, including the United States National Electrical Codes, British Standards, and Health Technical Memorandum (HTM)Standards.
-Experience in lighting, power distribution, lightning protection,
telecommunications, fire alarm and other typical building electrical systems design.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a high proficiency in English is required.
-Demonstrated proficiency in specification writing in CSI Master Format.
-Understanding of multidisciplinary coordination through design and the construction process.
