•Lead the engineering support for Blueprint (GPB) and SII processes for PS, laying out strategic and tactical actions to expand the profitable growth of our services business.
•Own the engineering support to respond to internal and external customer requests for technical information, ensuring the timely presentation and execution of solutions.
•Support business efforts to drive Inquiry To Order (ITO) excellence, embracing the use of technical knowledge, analytical tools and market intelligence to expand the market penetration of our solutions and drive a continuous improvement of our win-rates.
•Lead efforts to simplify application and requisition processes and tools, utilizing lean and fastworks tools and techniques to drive cross-functional business productivity.
•Understand and translate market requirements and dynamics to drive value selling and promote NPI/NTI plans. Lead the communication of technical information with customers through meetings and presentations in industry related conferences.
•Embrace and drive a culture of continuous quality improvement, working in a boundary-less fashion and fostering the early detection of quality issues and risks as well as promoting lean processes that drive fulfillment excellence.
As a technology leader of our power generation services business, the Power Service (PS) Engineer will lead all aspects of application engineering activities across the PS portfolio of products to propose and execute solutions that help customers enhance their power generation assets, fueling the profitable growth of our services business through innovative and differentiated solution
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• At least 8 additional years of experience in an engineering capacity or like wise as a field engineer or other technical roles
• Extensive experience with power plant design and upgrades, including system analysis and testing
• Experience successfully communicating with senior executives, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to understand, define and communicate interrelationships between component design and system performance
