Key Responsibilities

  • Directs and Manages project from beginning to end
  • Prepares and implement Project Execution Plan (PEP).
  • Develop project plans and schedules
  • Participate in project reviews, Pre-Start-up Reviews etc as required.
  • Effectively communicate project expectation to all team members
  • Attends the Weekly Progress Meetings (Internal as well as with Client) and reviews and approves of Minutes of Meetings.
  • Monitors work in progress and reviews weekly report of the status of each assignment.
  • Interpret clients' requirements
  • Ensures all procedures and calculations are submitted to the client for review and approval.
  • Ensure interfaces/requirements between all disciplines are incorporated where required, to achieve objectives.
  • Report project progress of close-out on weekly basis for presentation to management
  • Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path;  
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Track project milestones and deliverables;  
  • Evaluate, organise and prioritise workload within a schedule
  • Issue status reports to the project team, analyse results, and troubleshoot problem areas;  
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans;  
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.  
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and subcontractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work;  
  • Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project.  
  • Conduct project “lessons learned” meetings and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements;  
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
  • Able to demonstrate sufficient technical knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognize when technical problems are developing in the various disciplines, and to initiate appropriate corrective actions.
  • Seek guidance on areas beyond technical knowledge and manage implementation of solutions.
  • Provide guidance and input during project implementation
  • Time to time review of technical proposals and make amendments as to make the proposal viable
  • Attends all the company-organised training courses when invited.
  • Development of ILF-UEO capability by assisting in the training of staff.
  • Be aware of and obey the Company Health, Safety and Environmental, and Quality rules & perform the activities as per IMS.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in discipline engineer role and 3-4 years of experience as Project Engineer
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Meticulous and able to follow through with tasks promptly
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • High awareness of safe working practices associated with the design, construction, pre-commissioning, installation and offshore hook-up and commissioning of large scale Oil and Gas facilities'
  • Ability to work with different disciplines and cultures
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Basic MS Project and Primavera skills
